Peregrine 1.4: I'm having a heart attack
Peregrine Legacy
Thie time:  112 images, because I want Gen 1 to move on, already. Also, I've converted to jpg because my bandwidth = 2GB in one day = sad. I tried to maintain a balance between pretty and small.

Peregrine Legacy
It's still Data's birthday party, and Demo is using the opportunity to get some more suckers to agree to technology not sucking. She's kind of piss poor at it.
Peregrine Legacy
For instance, calling someone a llama is not the best way to accomplish one's goals. Except that it works. So... maybe.
Peregrine Legacy
Here's another look at Data; I think I got used to the weird toddler face wih Tiberius because he's practically cute.
Peregrine Legacy
Like most toddlers, he gets most of his nutrition from those magic crack blocks.
Peregrine Legacy
And is terrified of strangers in the window. Even in rooms with no eye-level windows.
Peregrine Legacy
Jean-Luc brings this kid home from school; he interacts with no one, listens to the music box for several hours, and then runs off after curfew.

Also he APPARENTLY judges my gingham. Ahem.
Peregrine Legacy
D..demo that is not how to properly check the stove. You will burn yourself.
Peregrine Legacy
Did I mention that kid played with the music box? Now they know it's there and sort of horde around it a lot.
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: Do you smell something?
Jean-Luc: Yes, I believe it's your shoes. You've been wearing them for years.

Well at least we know why she always makes that face, then.
Peregrine Legacy
Jean-Luc: Invisible chess partner, I will conquer you!
Again, he is always talking in Patrick Stewart's voice in my head.
Peregrine Legacy
I caved and bought this thing. Maybe I bought it last update. Anyway, Tiberius loves it and so Lenny spends a lot of time awkwardly hanging out behind her, waiting to talk.
Peregrine Legacy
Huzzah! Guess what career level she's at, though. It is still one.
Peregrine Legacy
I like to call this: Data smells so bad Jean-Luc can't even sleep in the same room.
Peregrine Legacy
This face says it all.
Peregrine Legacy
Tiberius: Where is Dad, to make them move because I need THIS chair to do homework. THIS one. The one next to it is not good. No.

Anyway, I decided to go back out on the town for another round of "really guys just because I've blown up half the town doesn't mean technology is bad!"
Peregrine Legacy
But instead Demo compares this woman (?) to Tiberius. Ouch.
Peregrine Legacy
WoMan: Yeah, I may be fugly but at least I'm not lame.
Peregrine Legacy
Here, Data stares at someone's boobs for the first time.
Peregrine Legacy
Another after school friend, and this one interacts with people, but... well. He is the baby hater.
Peregrine Legacy
Janeway: YES. I FIND THAT FUNNY. HA. HA. HA!
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: Okay! Household! Do not move these books! I put them *right here* and if you move them I will be very upset! Is anyone listening!
Peregrine Legacy
Some mother-son bonding and then:
Peregrine Legacy
Yes! Teenagers! One stage to YA!
Peregrine Legacy
Birthday time, but then I get this notification. Buh?
Peregrine Legacy
Extra. Extra buh. "Man I am tired of the corporate ladder. I'd love to clean dishes, though!"
Peregrine Legacy
Demo lets Lenny know how she feels about his "awesome new culinary career".
Peregrine Legacy
Then I force her to do some laundry because DAMN.
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: I'll just fill it up until I can't smell the socks. No need to measure. Or look.
Peregrine Legacy
Cake!
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: Oh GOD Cake!
Peregrine Legacy
Yep, we're really pumped for puberty, here.
Peregrine Legacy
Child one! Jean-Luc: a good blend of parents, I think.
Peregrine Legacy
And of course as soon as he's a teenager he's voracious and rude.
Janeway: Um, it is my turn now. I cheered for you. Jean-Luc.
Peregrine Legacy
Tiberius: Yay, birthday, but, move, because cake.
Peregrine Legacy
... what.
Peregrine Legacy
Oh thank God. Again, though. Clone much?
Peregrine Legacy
Tiberius actually canceled her cake interaction. P.S. I am very glad anyone can click on the cake, because it makes the ISBI quite nice.
Peregrine Legacy
Tiberius: Yes, cake, it is my third birthday. But I will be a teenager! I will look SO COOL and everyone will finally stop using me as an insult.
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: *intense*
Peregrine Legacy
Yep. Excited! And hey, weird faces age up pretty.
Peregrine Legacy
Well, that's not so..
Peregrine Legacy
Um, Camera?
Peregrine Legacy
... it's the lighting.
Peregrine Legacy
It is not the lighting.

Well, I guess she's lived hard. Doing homework. Play that damned Gnubble or Grubble or BubbleFace game.

Not to mention all the chain smoking.

Makeovers and, because I remembered and it's important today! Traits!
Peregrine Legacy
Peregrine Legacy
This was the formal outfit she grew into. I very nearly left it.
Peregrine Legacy
Peregrine Legacy
Seriously I did what I could. Everything makes her look like one of those 45 year olds who still hasn't caught on that they're not a teenager any more.
Peregrine Legacy
Tiberius: Now, cake. We have an APPOINTMENT.
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: Sure would be nice if someone would CLEAN THE DISHES.
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: You know! The dirty ones?
(Jean-Luc: Don't worry, Tiberius. I'm sure you can still get a desk job.)
Janeway: *is a lady*
Peregrine Legacy
Um. Um, please don't. With your face. Please?
Peregrine Legacy
You know what? Nevermind. The poo smell face is much better.
Data: I'm looking much better now, aren't I?

Here have some clone Janeway spam.
Peregrine Legacy
Peregrine Legacy
Peregrine Legacy
Peregrine Legacy
Peregrine Legacy
Janeway: So if I make faces, I can be heir anyway, right?
Peregrine Legacy
Jean-Luc will not be outdone. He is SRS, do not forget.
Peregrine Legacy
So very serious.
Peregrine Legacy
And Tiberius exists.
Peregrine Legacy
Data's practicing faces for later.
Peregrine Legacy
So I love that my Sims can autonomously go to someone else's house.
Peregrine Legacy
Not, however, enough to take pictures while they are there.
Peregrine Legacy
Tiberius also visited someone. Someone who clearly lives in some kind of crazy underground facility. How is this residential?
Peregrine Legacy
Janeway shows up her mother during a tutoring session, of all times.
Peregrine Legacy
As though a beacon went off in her head, Tiberius, across town, starts working on her own logic skill.
Peregrine Legacy
Oh also this is the only other Sim I saw in the entire gigantic house.
Peregrine Legacy
Demo takes a break from chess to learn about the universe.
Peregrine Legacy
She is grossly under-rewarded for her efforts. Also: I am a nerd.
Peregrine Legacy
Geeze, Demo, it's just a bad screencap.
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: I see me, in the bed. But I am also here. *boggles*
Peregrine Legacy
Jean-Luc is I guess not the nice one here, so is not afraid to mock his mother.
Peregrine Legacy
Jean-Luc: You know, mother, they sell books that would teach you to do this.
Peregrine Legacy
That's just going to make a mess!
Peregrine Legacy
Somehow, she gets it from cutting board to stove... but still burns the pancake. And looks pleased.
Peregrine Legacy
Oh look these two are still also part of the family I guess.
Peregrine Legacy
Among everything else, Jean-Luc disapproves of Data's desire to pounce upon his teddy bear and figure out what makes it live. You silly android you.
Peregrine Legacy
I don't know, I just went outside and this was happening.
Peregrine Legacy
Jean-Luc: So you see, father, the Mona Lisa really is technically superior to other works of it's time.
Lenny: My kid is kind of a smug asshole.
Peregrine Legacy
Yes! Birthday!
Peregrine Legacy
So of course we need to get in some skill book reading, so that maybe, just maybe, he'll be obsessed with something besides blocks.
Peregrine Legacy
Janeway gets the reward for first Sim to the guitar, and I'm pretty sure only puts it down to not starve to death.
Peregrine Legacy
Meanwhile, Tiberius has apparently seen a mirror and is trying to win Heir points.
Peregrine Legacy
I get bored and start looking for things for Demo to blow up. And this was pretty (and just scenery).
Peregrine Legacy
So I figure we'll go to the other junkyard. Look at that beautiful gleam, begging to be ruined.
Peregrine Legacy
KAPOW!
Peregrine Legacy
ka...pow? (see teaser)
Peregrine Legacy
Yeah, that's right. We don't care how much we destroy. We're here to get scrap and we mean business!
Peregrine Legacy
I just wanted to show that even the furniture exploded. From one detonation.
Peregrine Legacy
Oh, what's this? A leetle bug?
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: Dear God it bit me!
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: well I'll just try again.
Peregrine Legacy
Demo: Son of a! OW!
Peregrine Legacy
That's right, Tiberius. Do the dishes. Allll of them.
Peregrine Legacy
Another inappropriately placed pow-wow. Notice Janeway's vapid expression.
Peregrine Legacy
And back out to whatever this is a Sim version of.
Peregrine Legacy
Lenny: So, even though I am totally awesome at cleaning dishes, she doesn't appreciate it! Says I made a fantastic politician.

Er, maybe not the best person to gripe at there, Lenny.
Peregrine Legacy
But then she does seem fascinated by everything you do, so.
(bunny photo bomb?)
Peregrine Legacy
I realize this is hard to see, but Jean-Luc is not the best at sports.
Peregrine Legacy
Now: Birthday! Please note Data's position in the next three images:
Peregrine Legacy
Peregrine Legacy
Peregrine Legacy
Way to be an animate object, there.
Peregrine Legacy
Data: Haha, what, I'm not a robot shut up.
Peregrine Legacy
Data: And if you tell anyone otherwise, I'll come while you're sleeping!
Peregrine Legacy
BLINDING US WITH SCIENCE!
Peregrine Legacy
Those are... traits that make a difference. But look at his nerd glasses. I love them.
Peregrine Legacy
All four children in one place?
Peregrine Legacy
Tiberius: So, cake, we meet again!

And that's that. This update I am asking for opinions/votes on heir. I realize that Data isn't even a teenager and nobody is an adult, but I don't want to have to stop or wait later. Consider it a bit of mystery. Will the chosen heir grow up with a reasonable set of genetics? Will we end up with a loathed trait? Who knows! But please comment with your thoughts/vote. And right now I have no preference for winner. Thanks!

Well I do plan on occasionally checking in and inviting over any cousin spawn, but yes. Her children are most likely to have the more interesting faces.

I love Tiberius :3

She appears to be strangely popular! I think my only real beef is her eye bags. I admit, I checked if was just the skin or not and I think the diagnosis was, all my skins stretch on her face? I will probably check again becoz if she is in a default skin maybe I need to re-eval which skin I have as default versus not.

Teen Tiberius, pre-makeover, reminded me of Bette Davis in "Whatever happened to Baby Jane?" It's those same crazy eyes. Kinda scary, but lovin' it.
Janeway's not an exact clone of Demo, her nose is not quite as pronounced.
Jean-Luc ... he was so cute as a kid.... but as a teen...ick.
Data, I don't know, hard to judge a child, but he's not as interesting as the others.

Heir vote: Tiberius.

I was just so not expecting just drastic cheekbones to emerge from Tiberius. Also, as above, her eyebags. But it's kind of freeing because I feel no compunction to keep her normal looking.

Looking at Janeway kind of creeps me out actually. She is basically like me: I look almost identical to my mother, except around the nose, and as I get older I see it more and it's weird.

I really Jean-Luc's fat ol' face and gigantic ears, but I clearly like the pudding of TS3.

Data is incredibly boring! It is because he has the most boring traits of any Sim I have ever had, and also ISBI works a little less interestingly in TS3 because a lot of autonomous behaviors either aren't working in my game (skill toys, for one!) or are disabled. :[

Anyway, Tibs is clearly winning so far, so!

Tiberius. Because the weird! I loves it.
